Rare. – From the estate of Karl Hubbuch. - Each monogrammed with an ‘h’ in the bottom right-hand corner. - The works of the German painter Karl Hubbuch (1891–1979), a representative of New Objectivity, were confiscated as part of the ‘Degenerate Art’ campaign. After being banned from continuing to work as an artist, he initially worked at the State Majolica Manufactory in Karlsruhe and later as a clock painter for Black Forest clock factories. - Slightly stained. Generally well preserved.
