Prussia Werner, Anton von Study: ‘The Artist’s Wife with her Young Son’ (Malvina, née Schreodter, 1847–1901, with her first-born son Fritz, 1878–1902). Circa 1880. Graphite, highlighted in white, on bluish handmade paper. Sheet dimensions approx. 41.5 x 31.1 cm. In the lower margin, a note in pencil and handwritten numbers ‘i538’ and ‘1880’. – Slightly creased at the top and right margins; the hand-made edge has been trimmed at the bottom and on the left.
