Marbled leather with rich gilt decoration, gilt-stamped spine label and gilt edges, as well as red edging on the reverse (worn and bumped). Extremely rare. No copy known to us in the international market, and held by only three institutions worldwide. – A work on the institutions of the French legal system in the 18th century. - With an ex-libris by Joannis-Baptistae Pijon. - Margins slightly browned and with light foxing. Some pages with minimal worm-eaten areas. Overall in good condition. With an engraved title vignette. Marbled leather with rich gilt spine decoration, gilt-lettered spine label, gilt turn-ins, and red-stained edges (rubbed and bumped). - Extremely rare. We have found no record of a copy on the international market; held by only three institutions worldwide. - A work on the institutions of the French legal system in the 18th century. - With the bookplate of Joannis-Baptistae Pijon. - Margins slightly browned and with light foxing.
