Law A miscellany comprising 38 legal prints, some of which are rare, mostly dissertations. Some feature woodcut initials and vignettes, 1680–1765. In total, approx. 1,000 leaves, 4° (approx. 19.5 x 17.5 cm). Contemporary half-leather binding with coloured paper cover, handwritten title ‘Vol. 89’ and blue edge-staining (slightly bumped, coloured paper rubbed and with small losses). Contains dissertations mainly from the 17th and 18th centuries, printed in Jena, Leipzig, Gießen, Tübingen, Wetzlar, Wittenberg, Erfurt, Altdorf, Danzig, Hanover, Marburg and Schwabach, amongst others. - Various legal topics are covered, including, amongst others: J.G.
