A comprehensive commentary on canon law, edited by Giovanni Paolo Lancellotti (1522–1590). – VD17 1:009921R – Cf. Stintzing-L. III/1, p. 50. - He owes his worldwide reputation to his *Institutiones Juris Canonici*, the text of which is reproduced in most editions of the *Corpus Juris Canonici*.
