Folded sheet of thick handmade paper, printed on one side (the reverse side has small tears and traces of adhesive from a former binding). A beautiful, wide-format map with detailed text: ‘Déscription de l’Afrique’. – A tear in the lower white margin, a small missing section in the upper margin, some slight creases and handling marks; overall, a robust engraving with rich border colouring.
