Black half-leather binding with gold-embossed English title and blue-embossed Japanese title on the front cover, illustrated endpapers and gilt edges (worn and slightly faded, title embossing faded).

The illustrations comprise street photographs from towns and cities in Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France and England, and depict far more than just the typical sights of the respective locations.
