Illustrated in green half-leather (discoloured, scuffed, worn and creased; spine somewhat brittle (covering detached); front cover slightly loose).
A comprehensive series featuring magnificently etched views of Venice’s major squares and buildings, brought to life with figurative details. Depicted are: Piazza di San Marco with St Mark’s Basilica – Palazzo Ducale – Ponte di Rialto – Accademia di Belle Arti – Isola di S. Michele di Murano – amongst others – Slightly browned due to the paper and age, with some slight foxing in places. Overall, a well-preserved copy with consistently magnificent and high-contrast plates.
