This rare map by the Leipzig copperplate engraver Johann Georg Schreiber depicts the territory of the Bishopric of Naumburg and Zeitz, extending as far as Freiburg, Altenburg and Gera. The hand-coloured map, featuring a decorative title cartouche, is surrounded by 120 miniatures of town and village churches in the region. – A tear backed and a central fold; slightly stained. Overall in good condition.
