Published by Verlag Brückner, Goslar. – Pre-publication copy, possibly a proof, with registration marks. – Without the lithographed rose and die-cut. – With engraved publisher’s details beneath the mirrored double rose. - Decorative rose ornamentation featuring 6 or 8 (on the reverse) artistically decorated medallions with miniature views of famous places in the Harz region, including Burgberg near Harzburg, Studentenklippe and Ziegenrücke in the Oker Valley, Wernigerode Castle, Brockenhaus, Blankenburg Castle and the Marmormühle near Rübeland / Stubenberg, Falkenstein Castle, Ilsenstein, Mädgesprung, Alexisbad, Vietorshöhe, Ballenstedt Castle and Das Bodethal. - Trimmed to the pass marks at the bottom edge; two margins show printing marks due to the printing process; very few very slight handling marks; very few, very small pale brown spots in places along the top edge; overall in very good condition. An excellent, clear and finely lined print with a distinctly defined plate edge and blind-printed facet, with margins on three sides. - Included: a duplicate of the same.
