Each view measures 16.5 x 45 cm; sheet dimensions 38.4 x 52 cm. Engraved title and caption below the illustration. Not listed in Fauser. – Copperplate engraving by J. A. Chovin after Barbier. – Rare views showing the town from the same vantage point before and after the construction of the fortifications. - Two pale brown spots in the top right-hand corner of the image; several creases; a small tear along the upper and right-hand edges of the sheet; the paper is partially thinned along the right-hand edge.
