Historically coloured copperplate map on handmade paper. 53.5 x 59.5 cm. A map of the Duchy of Magdeburg drawn by the historian and Academy President Baron von Gundling. With a richly illustrated title cartouche and two views of Halle and Magdeburg. In addition, a portrait medallion of Frederick William I at the top edge of the map, as well as the coat of arms of Magdeburg. – Smoothed centre fold, edges slightly browned. Trimmed to the plate edge. Overall, a very well-preserved map. Coloured copperplate map on laid paper. – A map of the Duchy of Magdeburg, drawn by the historian and Academy President Baron von Gundling. It features a richly illustrated title cartouche and two views – one of Halle and one of Magdeburg. Additionally, there is a portrait medallion of Frederick William I at the top edge of the map, along with the coat of arms of Magdeburg. - Flattened central fold, edges slightly browned.
