Albums of drawings Album containing original drawings and watercolours, mostly coloured prints and handwritten texts. Mid-19th century. 68 leaves. Quarto. Leather-bound album with a cover featuring an ornamental wooden frame, dark blue velvet and gilt edges (worn and chipped). This decorative album is adorned with a wide variety of artistic watercolours, drawings, prints and even a dried bouquet of flowers. The numerous originals depict, for the most part, landscapes featuring castles, towns and the sea in Hyères in the south of France. Some of the watercolours are dated and signed by Anna von Kolzakoff and a Colonel von Kolzakoff, whilst another is signed by Mary Stewart. Two pages with magnificently designed quotations. – The lithographs are partly foxed. Overall, a magnificently preserved album in very good condition, containing a multitude of small originals. Album containing original drawings and watercolours, mostly hand-coloured prints, and handwritten texts. Mid-19th century.
