Published by Domenico de’ Rossi, 1693. 38 x 67 cm (47 x 70.5 cm). – Lunettes from the Loggia di Psyche: on the left, Cupid flying amongst the clouds; in the centre, Venus seated with Cupid at her side; on the right, a putto carrying Jupiter’s thunderbolts, accompanied by one of Jupiter’s eagles. – II. View of Stenay. Copperplate engraving from 3 plates on sturdy handmade paper. N. Cochin near Beaulieu. Circa 1694. 45.5 x 54.5 cm (49 x 59.5 cm). With decorative border and a medallion magnificently flanked by figures. Below the illustration is an engraved caption. - I. With a straight centre fold; the edge of the sheet is slightly browned and has some foxing (slightly more pronounced at the edge). - II. Sheet with central fold, here with a somewhat large water stain and some spore stains, only occasionally with pale brown spots. Overall in good condition, the print 2 copperplate engravings. I. With a creased centre fold, slightly browned at the edges, some foxing (slightly more pronounced at the edges). - II. Leaf with centre fold, here with a somewhat larger water stain and some mould stains, only a few pale brown spots. Overall in good condition; the prints are strong and distinctly nuanced.
