Early edition of this rare collection of sermons. – VD17 23:629930K – Cf. Jöcher II, 1974. - The book served as a direct model and theological guide for Catholic priests in the Archdiocese of Mainz in preparing their own pulpit sermons, enabling them to distinguish themselves dogmatically from Protestant writings during the Thirty Years’ War (1618–1648). - Slight discolouration; title page has a small cut at the top edge.
