Contains: *L’Office de la Quinzaine de Pasque*, Latin-French (...) With an engraved frontispiece and a coat-of-arms title vignette. Paris, Duc d’Orléans, 1753. 1 folio, XXXIV, 631 pp., 2 folios. 8°. – With a handwritten contemporary ownership note by Marie Du Loutret, 1761. - Magnificent binding from the library of Louis Philippe II Joseph, Duke of Orléans. Although he was a member of the French royal family, he served as a member of the National Convention during the French Revolution and voted in favour of the King’s death sentence. - Binding slightly rubbed and bumped. Overall in good condition.
