Contains: *L’Office de la Quinzaine de Pasque*. Paris, *Libraires associés pour les Usages du Diocèse*, 1739. XXXVI, 631 pp. 8°. – Magnificent binding from the library of King Louis XV of France. He reigned from 1715 to 1774, and during his reign the centuries-long conflict between France and Austria was resolved. He also arranged the marriage of his successor, Louis XVI, to Marie Antoinette, who was of the House of Habsburg. - Slightly rubbed and bumped. Well preserved overall. Wine-red leather binding with rich gilt decoration on the spine, a gold-stamped floral border frame and gilt edges, as well as gilt interior and standing edges and a central supralibros coat of arms of Louis XV, King of France. - Contents: as listed above. - Magnificent binding from the library of the French King Louis XV.
