With an original watercolour, 5 full-page coloured plates, numerous coloured vignettes and book decorations, as well as 4 extra sets of coloured prints and remarks on various types of paper. Yellow morocco binding with staggered gold-embossed fillets, corner fleurons with inlaid black leather, gold-lettered title, inside cover with handmade marbled paper, gilt edges and spine. Signed: E. Buer. Not listed in Monod. – One of 50 copies of the special edition on Japanese paper featuring the watercolour and the extra plates. Albert Victor Samain (1858–1900) was a French poet and a leading figure of Symbolism. The beautiful illustrations on Japanese paper by Mossa were hand-coloured by Eugène Charpentier. – A fine hand-bound volume in the Art Deco style. In good condition. With one original watercolour drawing, 5 full-page coloured plates, numerous coloured vignettes and book decorations, and 4 extra suites with coloured graphics and remarques on various papers.
