Set of 6 coloured etchings. 1914–1915. Etchings with watercolour, some with white highlights, on sturdy vellum. Approx. 33 x 26 cm and 46.5 x 32.5 cm. Each signed and dated in the plate and in pencil.
Paul Hagemans (1884–1959) was the son of the painter Maurice Hagemans and was himself a Belgian painter. He trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels and worked in various media, including watercolour, oil and lithography. – Minimal surface wear. Overall, very well-preserved prints with high contrast and beautiful colouring.
