Original cloth binding with extensive gold embossing and gold edging (some slight wear to the gold ground, front cover with scratch marks, joints torn, binding detached from the book block). One of 875 copies (GA 1025) signed by Orlik in the colophon; but here, as in the deluxe edition, all etchings are signed and additionally feature a watercoloured ink drawing by Orlik with a six-line dedication to the pianist Bruno Eisner, a friend of Orlik and Slevogt.
