Edited by Karl Steinorth and featuring an essay by Nancy Newhall. – The photographer Alvin Langdon Coburn had been a member of Alfred Stieglitz’s New York Photo-Secession since 1902. He was a key figure in Pictorialism and primarily used the photogravure printing process. - The heliogravure depicts the photograph ‘Winter Shadows’, which is also reproduced in the book. - Print with slight marginal discolouration. Overall in very good condition. Featuring a photogravure on China paper and numerous photographic illustrations. – Edited by Karl Steinorth, with an essay by Nancy Newhall. – The photographer Alvin Langdon Coburn had been a member of Alfred Stieglitz’s New York Photo-Secession since 1902.
