A presentation of colourful drawings, cubomania and objects. With 2 mounted plates. Bucharest, self-published, 1945. 16 pp. (incl. cover) 8°. Original binding in stapled binding made of brown packing paper with a black title on the cover (front cover has a faintly visible watermark, slightly stained, with rusted edges around the staples).
A rare exhibition catalogue of Romanian Surrealism. – Ilk, Romanian Avant-garde, K465 (with colour illustrations). - Catalogue accompanying an exhibition by Gherasim Luca and Dolfi Trost held in Bucharest in January 1945 (during the Soviet occupation). Trost presented ‘graphies colorées’ as an example of automatic art, Luca ‘cinq cubomanies non-oedipiennes specialement erotique’. According to Ilk, published in a print run of approx. 500 copies. - Both artists were associated with the French Surrealists under Breton. Luca was to live and work in Paris from 1947 onwards, whilst Trost moved to the USA in 1948. – Also included: ‘Exposition internationale du Surréalisme’. Galerie Beaux-Arts, Paris, 17 January 1938. - Single-sided, illustrated invitation card with handwritten signature (illegible) and underlining. - Slightly stained, rubbed on the reverse.
