Gumuchian 835 – Cf. Seebaß I, 832: ‘Builly dictated these … highly successful stories and tales bit by bit every morning to his daughter Flavia, in order to teach her spelling.’ – Some pages with heavy foxing. Overall in good condition with high-contrast copper engravings. 2 vols. With 2 engraved title pages featuring title vignettes and 9 copper-engraved plates. Contemporary leather binding, each volume with two spine labels, gilt decoration on spines and covers, and gilt turn-ins (rubbed and bumped). - Some areas show heavy foxing.
