Friedrici, Thea Untitled (Monthly Illustrations). With 12 coloured full-page lithographs. Self-published, undated (c. 1920). 12 leaves, large 8° format. Illustrated paperback with transparent cover (scuffed and bumped, spine broken). Very rare. – Not listed in children’s book bibliographies. – The twelve monthly illustrations depict rural scenes, each featuring activities typical of the respective month, such as apple picking in October or ice skating in December. - Thea Friederici (1897–1971) lived in Leipzig and was married to the graphic artist Karl Stratil. - The first plate signed in pencil; the remaining ones monogrammed in the bottom right-hand corner. - Edges slightly browned. Occasional minimal foxing. Overall in very good condition. With 12 full-page coloured lithographs. Illustrated cardboard boards with a transparent dust jacket (rubbed and bumped, spine broken). - Very rare. - Not listed in children’s book bibliographies. - The twelve images of the months depict rural scenes featuring activities typical of each month, such as apple picking in October or ice skating in December. - Thea Friederici (1897–1971) lived in Leipzig and was married to the graphic artist Karl Stratil. - The first plate is signed in pencil; the others bear a monogram in the bottom right-hand corner. - Margins slightly browned.
