Germany – GDR Borchert, Christian Families in the GDR. With 36 photographs. Eberswalde, 1989. 3 leaves. 4°. Loose in a hinged folder with a mounted title page (folder slightly bumped). In the 1970s, the photographer Christian Borchert began his series of family portraits, which was later described as socio-documentary. After a lengthy hiatus, Borchert received a commission for a photographic project in 1983, which led to the series being resumed.
