Sedziwój/Sendevogius). (Wittenberg), C. Berger, 1616. 12°. 12 (lower left-hand corner) leaves, 493 (correctly 535) pp., 2 leaves of contemporary engravings with an embossed coat-of-arms supralibros on the front cover, the name Gregorius (R?)adowsky appearing within the coat-of-arms. (Worn and discoloured; the book block is broken after the endpaper, and the loose endpaper is old and glued to the title page; fastening ribbons replaced. 3rd edition. - - Ferguson II 216 - VD 17 23:297334N - Duveen 416 - Brüning 1154 - An important alchemical treatise by the chemist, botanist and professor of mathematics at the University of Leipzig, in which he describes potassium acetate for the first time.
