Bearing the bookplate and owner’s stamp of Zygmunt Stanislaw Czarnecki. - The German botanist David Dietrich authored several works and encyclopaedias on German flora, including this work on German forest flora, featuring descriptions and illustrations of, amongst other things, the berry-bearing shrubs and trees native to Germany, such as alder, various willows and pines. - Inner joint cracked. Mould-stained and partly water-stained. Overall in good condition; the copperplate engravings are mostly clean and in fine colour. Botany. – With 127 hand-coloured copperplate engravings. Half-leather binding with gilt-stamped title on the spine (heavily rubbed and bumped). – With the bookplate and ownership stamp of Zygmunt Stanislaw Czarnecki. - The German botanist David Dietrich authored several works and reference books on German flora, including this work on German forest flora, featuring descriptions and illustrations of – amongst others – berry bushes and trees native to Germany, such as the alder and various species of willow and pine. - Inner hinge cracked.
