Contemporary paper (somewhat stained). XVII, 422 (Holzmeyer). - A new edition, edited by Bartholonäus Zorn, of the herbal first published in 1654 by the Berlin physician Thomas Panckow. The text section contains detailed explanations and recipes. - The woodcuts – each featuring four plants per page – are by Peter Hille and Peter Holtzmeyer respectively. The blocks were previously owned by Thurneisser, who intended to use them for the continuation of his unfinished *Historia plantarum*. - Ownership inscription; uniformly browned throughout due to the paper; otherwise generally well preserved.
