First edition. – Ferguson I, 483 – Cole 732 – Caillet, 5855 – Thorndike, VIII, 380 – Honeyman, 1863 - One of the most important works by the Rendsburg-based glassmaker, apothecary and chemist, which, in addition to his scientific writings, also contains his alchemical treatises and experiments. - “That Kunckel is still bound by the traditions of alchemy, yet at the same time is already … paves the way for chemistry as a science is demonstrated by his numerous scientific experiments, which J. G. Slightly browned and, unusually, with occasional brief marginal notes.
