A methodical description of a collection of minerals from the cabinet of M. D. R. D. L. (= Monsieur de Romé de l'Isle). With an engraved allegorical frontispiece by Aug. de St. Aubin after C. Monnel, as well as several vignettes and decorative borders in woodcut. Paris, Didot jeune and Knapen, 1773. XXXII, 299, (5, reg., printer’s mark) 8vo. Temporary binding of the period in snail-marbled paper (assembled from several individual sheets, occasionally stained, corners bumped, top edge stained).

His mineral collection is now housed in the Natural History Museum in Paris. – Title page with a small owner’s note in the upper white margin; the upper white margins of some leaves have a small watermark; otherwise a very well-preserved, uncut copy, printed on thick paper.
