One of 1,200 copies. – Nissen IVB, 65. – Edward C. S. Baker was a constable in the Indian Police and had a personal interest in ornithology. He used his time in India to study the local avifauna. This work on the ducks of India is one of his earliest publications. - Lithographs by Green, Grönvold, Lodge and Keulemans. - Water-stained, edges browned. Colourful lithographs. In good overall condition.
