Company Publications Gustaffson & Görtz Sample catalogue for metal goods, tools and household goods from the firm Gustafsson & Görtz in Örebro (Sweden), comprising approx. 40 cardboard sheets, mostly printed on both sides using lithography and, in some cases, colour lithography. Örebro, c. 1900. Large 4°. Original cloth binding with cord fastening and gold-stamped title on the cover (heavily scuffed). Gustafsson & Görtz was a historic trading and commercial firm based in Örebro, Sweden, which operated, amongst other things, as a dealer in iron, metal goods and household goods, and at times as a car dealership (Bilhall). The magnificent plates depict measuring tapes, saws, axes, pliers, files, spades, rakes, oil cans, cake tins, whisks, paraffin stoves, a sweeper, a laundry mangle, benches, coffee grinders, an ice cream maker, a flat iron, candlesticks, scales, rifles, a pistol, scissors and much more. Also included are further, richly illustrated catalogues and price lists: Price list from Borggards Bruk – Price list from Gemla Leksaksfabriks, Weciö 1905 – Illustrated catalogue from A.-B. Modellfabriken, Gothenburg, on wall clocks, 1905. - The brief descriptions, some of which are mounted, are in Swedish. - The plates are in places slightly stained.
