Collection of 5 partially coloured pen-and-ink drawings. 1862–1863. Pen-and-ink drawing on paper, partly coloured and highlighted in white. 14.5 x 19.5 cm (viewing dimensions). Framed under glass with a passe-partout, unopened. Signed and dated.
The drawings depict riders and horses on a ride, during a riding lesson or on a hunt. They resemble the style of the English artist Hablot Knight Browne, who illustrated the books of Charles Dickens. - Each signed ‘H.G.H.’ and featuring captions accompanying the depiction below the drawing. - Slightly foxed. Well preserved overall.
