Description
No. 2 – MADAME DE VERNEVILLE (Crousse 1885) The peony conservation programme began in 2003 with the Lactiflora variety ‘Madame de Verneville’!!! I hope you will be as enchanted by her offspring as I am. She is a double white flower with just a hint of pink, featuring a few red ligules at her centre, and resembles a cabbage when she is in full bloom. It has the scent of a rose. Its foliage is impeccable. It is a prolific bloomer and often bends under the weight and sheer number of its flowers. In a vase, it retains its fragrance for a long time. Height: 90cm
