Estimate €35,000 - €45,000
Description
1986 Land Rover Defender 90 V8. Chassis number: SALLDVAV8AA257803. All Land Rovers are designed around a steel chassis supporting an aluminium body made up of standard, detachable components. This not only allowed for quick and easy maintenance and repairs, but also made it possible to produce an impressive range of different versions based on this principle to cater for all agricultural, commercial and professional activities. This example, which is in a respectable condition, underwent a complete rebuild from the chassis upwards in 2021. The chassis has been treated with an epoxy paint finish. Our Defender is fitted with a 3.5-litre V8 petrol engine, which was also completely overhauled in 2021. The exhaust system is made of stainless steel. The 5-speed gearbox has been serviced, whilst the transfer box has been reconditioned. The entire braking system has been overhauled. The interior has been fitted with black leather upholstery crafted by Sellerie Champenoise. This Defender has been fitted with a bespoke wooden steering wheel. The tyres are in good condition. The vehicle has been fitted with several additional features, including a tow bar, an LED light bar, a spare wheel on a mount, a circuit breaker, a Nimbus air-spring suspension kit, and mud flaps. The odometer reads 101,000 km. A comprehensive file containing maintenance and restoration invoices will be provided to the buyer. The vehicle has its standard registration document and a roadworthiness certificate issued within the last six months.
