EHEIM Professional 3 – Aquarium filter media
A set of high-performance filter consumables for EHEIM external filters, comprising pre-filter foam and cotton pads for crystal-clear water.
Technical specifications
* Brand: EHEIM
* Range: Professional 3
* Compatibility: EHEIM Professional 3 1200 XL and Professional 3 Thermo 1200 XLT
* Pack contents: 1x blue pre-filter foam (coarse filter pad) + 4x white cotton wool pads (fine filter pads)
* Certification: Lab Tested / Phenol Free (free from toxic substances)
* Origin: Made in Germany
How it works
* Pre-filtration: The blue foam removes solid particles as soon as water enters the system, thereby extending the service life of the other filter media.
* Fine filtration: The cotton pads trap the finest particles before the water is returned to the aquarium.
Instructions for use
* Use: The white cotton wool pads are for single use only. The blue foam is reusable.
* Maintenance: It is recommended to clean the blue foam after around 4 or 5 months. It is recommended that the white cotton wool be replaced every month (depending on the number of fish).
* Assembly order: Place the EHEIM MECH at the bottom, followed by SUBSTRATpro, then the white cotton wool and finally the blue pre-filter foam at the top.
