Description
Peugeot 504
Year: 1971
Mileage: 09561 on the odometer
Model: 504
Registration document: yes
MOT: due
History:
Peugeot entered the modern era with this first 504 model. The space dedicated to passengers and luggage made it one of the largest French saloons of its time. Its production run began in 1968 and ended with models for the African and South American markets in 2006. All versions were introduced very quickly, as Peugeot possessed real expertise in this field, ranging from the saloon to the estate, including the pick-up and the convertible. The engine bay is particularly well designed, capable of accommodating everything from 4-cylinder petrol engines to naturally aspirated diesel engines. The convertible version, based on the same platform, was fitted with the famous V6 engines.
Condition: The saloon shown here is a carburettor-equipped version of the early models, which were not yet named according to their variants; this began in May 1971 with the L, GL and other versions. This car is painted white, which is not the original Peugeot colour; it was repainted some time ago. Its original interior features red velour and fabric upholstery. The necessary precautions will need to be taken before setting off on a journey.
