- Arguably the finest TR 250 on the market, our example received a restoration costing in excess of €42,000 at specialist Erine Légende between 2022 and 2023. According to its British Motor Heritage certificate, it was delivered new in May 1968 by the Leyland Motor Corporation dealership in New York and still retains its original engine.
- The quality of the restoration is exceptional for a car in this category. In addition to the bodywork, not only the chassis but also all the running gear and powertrains have been rebuilt. On the engine side, the crankshaft, cylinder head and block were rectified. The camshaft was re-bored, as were the cylinders, and the valve train was replaced. The gearbox and clutch are new, as are all the accessories such as the fuel, oil and water pumps. The entire wiring harness has been reworked, and an electronic ignition system has been fitted.
- Aesthetically, the car is in what can only be described as 'concours' condition.
