Description
1984 - ALPINA B7 TURBO French registration title French registration title Chassis n° WAPB7TL014B710056 "Extremely rare B7 Turbo 1, number 56 of 236 models "Extremely rare B7 Turbo 1, number 56 of 236 models" - The Alpina B7 was introduced in 1981 based on the BMW 5 Series. This 4-door saloon was offered in three versions: Turbo, Turbo 1 and Turbo 3, all sharing the same engine, the M30 6-cylinder block. Completely modified by Alpina and turbocharged by a KKK turbine, the engine produced 300 bhp and phenomenal torque. - The B7 presented here was put on the road in Toulouse on 26 November 1984, when it carried its first registration number: 2000 US 31 (still visible on the windows). Used by a company director for 4 years, it covered some 70,000 km before being sold to a policeman in the 82 department, who kept it for 2 years. - This was followed by two other owners, who were always passionate about the car and very careful about its maintenance (a large file of invoices is available for consultation). It should be noted that a gearbox was changed in the past and a door repainted. - The current owner acquired it a few years ago in the Centre region of France, when the B7 was in a collection with many BMWs; he became the 4th owner. He has never stopped taking great care of his car, and there has been a lot of recent work on it, such as the ignition, Bilstein shock absorbers and new hoses. - Today, this incredible machine, which held the record for circumnavigating the Paris ring road in 1984, is in very satisfactory original condition. The odometer shows less than 120,000 km. The Hennarot colour is extremely rare on this model, and the B7 Turbo should be snapped up as a matter of urgency, as it has a rightful place in a prestigious collection.
