VF32031292105 "The rarest of the 203s "The rarest of the 203s" - The Peugeot 203 is a popular car, very modern for its time, which came in several versions. From the utilitarian dropside to the very elegant cabriolet, there was a short-lived 2-door coupé version in the range. - The car shown here was launched in February 1953 and bears the body number 315, out of 953 produced. The 203 coupé, based on the cabriolet, is the rarest model in the range, with only around one hundred surviving to date, according to the official model club. - This rare Peugeot 203 has never really undergone any restoration, and has been maintained over time to ensure that it can be driven in the best possible condition. It should be noted that the upholstery is original, bearing witness to the fact that the car was relatively little used and well preserved. - The car was repainted several years ago in metallic grey instead of the slightly darker grey visible in the engine compartment (reference grey 456), as the car's production sheet attests. The enthusiast will be able to repaint the car in its original configuration and give it its former lustre. - Today, this rare little coupé with its timeless lines is in very good mechanical condition and comes from a private collection of beautiful Peugeots; it has been well looked after by an enlightened enthusiast.
