Description
1994 Renault Clio 1.4 RT No reserve
Manufacturer: 1994 Renault Clio 1.4 RT
Model: No reserve
Vehicle registration document: French vehicle registration document
Chassis No.: Chassis No. VF1B57B0512346665
- Original mileage of 3,846 km!
- Impeccable history, owner’s manuals, provisional registration certificate
- Well-powered and well-equipped version
- No reserve
Positioned in the range just below the very luxurious Baccara version, the Clio 1.4 RT was a more upmarket version and came as standard with an electric sunroof, electric front windows, alloy wheels, power steering, remote central locking, fog lights and an audio system. Its engine produced 80 cv, making it lively and a pleasure to drive thanks to its well-engineered chassis.
The example shown here is one such car. Sold new on 17 October 1994 by the Renault dealership in Chennevières-sur-Marne, as confirmed by its service history book, it was registered two days later in Val-de-Marne. The various roadworthiness test reports document the car’s mileage up to its purchase by the current owner in 2013. The current owner has since taken great care to keep the car in perfect condition, driving it as little as possible. In May 2024, the timing belt was replaced and an oil change carried out when the car had clocked up 3,831 km. In an exceptional state of preservation, very close to new, this Clio comes with its order form, the original purchase invoice, service bills, previous MOT certificates, the bulb box and even the box of anti-theft nuts!
Voted Car of the Year upon its launch in 1991, the Clio has left its mark on several generations; this fully documented top-of-the-range model, with its exceptionally low mileage, has a bright future as a collector’s item.
VAT implications: As the vehicle has less than 6,000 km on the clock, it may be considered ‘as new’ in certain European Union countries. Please contact your tax authorities to confirm its status in the country of destination. If the lot is awarded to a buyer resident in France, VAT at 20 per cent will be charged
on the hammer price and fees.
