Built in March 1987 and first registered new on 17 August of that year in Pennsylvania, as confirmed by its Carfax report, this elegant convertible boasts a stunning colour combination: ‘Diamond Blue Metallic’ for the bodywork, paired with a midnight blue leather interior, matching carpets and soft top (manual). It features the sought-after G50 gearbox and air conditioning. It remained in its country of origin until 2009, when it had clocked up 69,348 miles, before moving via Rhode Island and then Florida, and was subsequently imported into Germany in 2015. We noted that the cold-stamped VIN begins with WP0ZZZ and not WP0EB as stated on the manufacturer’s label and the registration document. It joined Guido Hommel’s collection the following year. The car is in good, used condition; the bodywork has been repainted, whilst the leather upholstery is in good condition. On the dashboard, the original speedometer has been replaced by one calibrated in kilometres; it sits alongside a modern Blaupunkt CD radio. Accompanied by a file of American invoices and a valuation report dated March 2024, this interesting Porsche has undergone maintenance carried out in-house by the collection’s mechanic. It is in good working order, comes with its tool kit and promises many kilometres of driving pleasure in a model whose reliability and driving enjoyment need no introduction.

1987 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Cabriolet
This elegant convertible left the factory in March 1987 and was first registered on 17 August that year in Pennsylvania, as confirmed by its Carfax report. It features a very attractive colour combination, with ‘Diamond Blue Metallic’ paintwork and a dark blue leather interior, complete with matching carpets and a (manually operated) soft top. It is fitted with the sought-after G50 gearbox and air conditioning. It remained in its country of origin until 2009, when the odometer read 69,348 miles, and then moved on to Rhode Island and Florida before being imported into Germany in 2015. We noted that the stamped chassis number began with WP0ZZZ and not with WP0EB, as indicated on the manufacturer’s sticker and the registration certificate. It joined Guido Hommel’s collection the following year. The car is in good used condition: the body has been repainted and the leather upholstery is in good condition. On the dashboard, the original speedometer has been replaced by one displaying kilometres; next to it is a modern Blaupunkt radio/CD player. This interesting Porsche comes with a file of American invoices and a valuation report dated March 2024; it has been serviced in-house by the collection’s own mechanic. In good running order and supplied with its toolkit, it promises many miles behind the wheel of a model whose reliability and driving pleasure need no further introduction.
