Description
1972 Porsche 911S 2.4L Manufacturer: 1972 Porsche 911S 2.4L Vehicle registration document: French vehicle registration document Chassis No.: Chassis No. 9112300991 Engine No. 6321486 - Original colour, original engine - Approximately €76,000 worth of work carried out since 2014 - Bodywork restored in 2025 / 2026 As confirmed by its manufacturer’s specification sheet, this 2.4 S coupé left the factory in March 1973. It featured an unusual colour combination: ‘Sepia Brown’ for the bodywork, with a tan imitation leather interior featuring corduroy inserts – a desirable and timeless combination. It was in 2014 that its owner unearthed this interesting example in Japan, where the car had been stored in a barn for around fifteen years. He then entrusted it to Bitte Motorworks to have it restored. Between 2014 and 2017, the braking system was overhauled, as was the fuel system – including the replacement of the fuel tank – the fuel injection pump was restored, and the window seals, bearings and bellows were replaced. During the same period, the interior was refurbished. The beautiful 2.4 S was then brought back to France in 2017, before being entrusted to the excellent team at PN Classic. In 2018, the headlights were replaced, and the following year the drive shafts were replaced and the fuel injection system calibrated. In 2022, the gearbox and differential were fully restored. Following a rear-end collision, the bodywork will undergo a complete restoration before being repainted in its original colour. At the same time, the powertrain was removed, cleaned, resealed and fitted with a new exhaust system. The owner told us he has spent nearly €76,000 on restoration work since purchasing the car. Fitted with Fuchs wheels – the rear ones being wider to accentuate its sporty appearance – this stunning example is matching numbers and matching colours; the extensive work it has undergone in recent years guarantees many kilometres of pure driving pleasure.  French title Chassis No. 9112300991 Engine No. 6321486 - Original paintwork, original engine - Around €76,000 spent on work since 2014 - Bodywork restored in 2025/2026 1972 Porsche 911 2.4 S As stated on the manufacturer’s specification sheet, this 2.4 S coupé was built in March 1973.
