c.2024 – Maserati 8C Children’s Car Children’s car, not approved for road use ‘A stunning contemporary design, ideal for Little Big Le Mans’   The Maserati Tipo 8C is a genuine racing car, developed by Alfieri Maserati in the very early 1930s, following on from the already high-performance and sublime Tipo 26C.   Initially fitted with the 26M engine bored out to 2.8 litres, it was subsequently fitted with a new engine – still a supercharged, twin-overhead-cam, inline-eight – which from 1932 had a capacity of 3 litres.   The Tipo 8C 3000 was the last two-seater Maserati Grand Prix car and was replaced in 1933 by the Maserati 8CM, a single-seater.   This stunning 8C was built by the renowned German company Cyclekart Factory and is powered by a 9 HP Lifan 4-stroke engine. The details – the dials on the dashboard, the faux brake drums, the superb grille and the dummy exhaust – are absolutely stunning…   Measuring approximately 3.20 m in length and 1.16 m in width, it will be a delight for any budding driver and their mechanic… It is, of course, more than capable of taking part in, for example, the iconic Little Big Le Mans race.
