Description
1964 MORGAN +4 French classic car registration document Chassis no. 5595 - Originally delivered by Louwman & Parqui in the Netherlands - Highly sought-after Plus 4 - Mechanical service due in 2026 - Matching Numbers Launched in 1950, the Morgan Plus 4 completed the range, delivering a significant power boost thanks to a 2,088 cm³ overhead-valve engine borrowed from the Standard Vanguard and later the TR4. True to the British brand’s traditional craftsmanship, it retains its famous steel chassis reinforced by an ash wood frame, clad in a body with timeless lines. This 1964 Morgan Plus 4 was imported brand new by the Dutch dealership Louwman & Parqui, the brand’s local importer. It is still fitted with its original Triumph engine, as evidenced by the Châssis Record, and retains some of its original options, such as the spoked wheels, disc brakes, heating and wooden steering wheel. The beige upholstery is in good condition and complements the legendary British Green very well. Since its acquisition in 2019, the car has undergone several servicing jobs, as evidenced by the invoices included in the file. It underwent a major mechanical overhaul in July 2026 at a cost of 5,000 euros, including, in particular, the replacement of the water pump and radiator. The favourable MOT result confirms a successful road test. A true icon of the British roadster, the Morgan Plus 4 transcends the ages, showcasing the craftsmanship and timeless elegance of its wood and aluminium bodywork. 1964 MORGAN Plus 4 French classic car registration document Chassis no. 5595 - Delivered new by Louwman & Parqui in the Netherlands - Highly sought-after Plus 4 - Mechanical overhaul due in 2026 - Matching numbers Launched in 1950, the Morgan Plus 4 rounded off the range, delivering a significant power boost thanks to a 2,088 cm³ overhead-valve engine borrowed from the Standard Vanguard and later the TR4.
