Description
1992 ALPINE A610 MAGNY COURS Chassis: VF1D5030500085614 French vehicle registration document • Magny-Cours No. 15, part of a series of 31 • In the same family since new • Valuation reports from 2003 and 2022 • Approximately €5,000 in invoices in 2022 and 2023 Unveiled in Geneva in 1991, the A610 continues the line of rear-engined V6 Alpines. Redesigned compared to the GTA, it features pop-up headlights and a 3.0-litre PRV engine with a Garrett T3 turbocharger, producing 250 ch and a claimed top speed of over 265 km/h. Launched in June 1992 to celebrate the French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours and the successes of the Williams-Renault FW14B, the Magny-Cours series was limited to 31 examples. It is distinguished by its 596 Pearlescent Green paintwork, which extends to the wheel rims, its monograms, its black leather with green piping, its CD player and its numbered plaque. This example bears the number 15. Presented as having been in the same family since new and purchased brand new in 1993, it is said, according to the family, to have been registered by the dealer and then kept for a year before being sold. The service history book and old invoices were lost during the floods in 2021. Two valuation reports, dated 2003 and 2022, are presented as evidence of its unbroken history. A mechanical overhaul was carried out by Garage Jean Rédélé in 2022 and 2023; the two invoices total approximately €5,000. This little-produced series, rarely seen on the market, combines a distinctive appearance, long-term family ownership and documented maintenance carried out by a specialist in the brand’s history. Its next owner will be able to continue its story.   1992 Alpine A610 Magny Cours Chassis: VF1D5030500085614 French registration document • Magny-Cours no. 15, part of a series of 31 cars • In the same family since new • Valuations from 2003 and 2022 • Approximately €5,000 in invoices from 2022 and 2023 Unveiled at Geneva in 1991, the A610 continued Alpine’s line of rear-engined V6 models.
