From the very beginning, Bultaco took an interest in various off-road disciplines. For motocross, the Sherpa S was launched in its early versions: originally, it was merely a derivative of the Tralla, a road bike. However, it was gradually adapted to the demands of the sport, thanks to improved suspension, a sturdier frame, a more responsive engine and a four-speed gearbox with fairly short ratios. The Sherpa S is regarded as the forerunner of the Pursang and was the first off-road competition motorbike made available to customers in Spain.
Several versions were produced, notably in 175 cc, 125 cc and 100 cc. Our example is a 125 cc model of very high quality, having been meticulously maintained by its owner. A rare model, all the more so in a condition such as the one we are offering.
