1978 – Bultaco Frontera Mk 11 Frame no. HB-21501942 Engine no. HM-21501942 No registration certificate No roadworthiness test A pivotal moment in the history of the Bultaco brand and its global reputation. The Frontera is the brand’s iconic model, following the revolution brought about a few years earlier by the Matador range. The Mk11 version marked a significant step forward, with its air fork and ‘scarf’ exhaust. Bultaco had no choice but to include an attractive and innovative competition motorbike in its range. Two engine capacities were available: 360 cc and 250 cc. The one we are presenting here is a 250 cc model producing 37.4 chevaux, powered by a Bing carburettor.
