From 2.00 pm: 1965 FORD MUSTANG V8 Fastback with 24,060 miles on the clock, manual gearbox. In its FASTBACK version, this 1965 model is the original that inspired Carroll SHELBY to create his GT350. The car on display is in very good overall condition, with its metallic blue bodywork set off by magnificent chrome trim and 15-inch SHELBY wheels fitted with Michelin tyres. The black imitation leather interior has a well-worn look and is in good condition, with excellent equipment including a Rallyepac with rev counter and clock, a wooden steering wheel and a digital radio – all fully functional.
