Description
CITROËN MEHARI AZUR – YEAR 1987 – 3 CV – 2-seater – Petrol – 90,884 KM ON THE CLOCK.
The Citroën Méhari Azur is a particularly distinctive variant of the famous leisure car from the chevron-badged manufacturer. Launched as a limited edition in 1983, it proved so successful that it was subsequently added to the Citroën range until production of the model ceased.
This RARE Méhari Azur stands out from the classic version thanks to its distinctive interior trim, its fold-down roof arches – which are more practical to use – and its openwork alloy wheels. This vehicle, in its Azur configuration, was manufactured on 8 November 1986 and bears the serial number 3652; it was first registered in Nice on 15 May 1987. These features give it a unique visual identity, particularly prized by enthusiasts of the Méhari range and underpinned by its fully verified provenance. This entirely original model has the advantage of never having been modified and of retaining its factory-fitted components, such as the alloy wheels and its distinctive trim.
The engine is the traditional 602 cm³ flat-twin petrol unit, paired with a manual gearbox. Simple in design and well-documented, this engine benefits from a wide availability of spare parts and replacement components. The registration certificate states that the vehicle was first registered on 15 May 1987. The roadworthiness test report dated 15 July 2026 records a mileage of 90,884 km and lists only minor faults.
Documents: registration certificate and roadworthiness test report.
A catalogue for the 1986 model year is enclosed.
